The Gathering in the Glen

(part of the Arigna Gathering  2013)

A homecoming reunion is being held on the first weekend in August 2013 for people who originated from the Glen of Arigna and all their descendants.

The townlands of Glen encompass the meeting of Counties Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon and include Gubbarudda, Glen, Glen-Ballynashee, Glen-Straduff, Glen-Tullynure, Glen-Carrowcashel, Tap, Glen-Carrownadargny, Braudphark, Boleymaguire, Glackaundarragh, Altagowlan and Greaghacorra,

So if you’re a descendant of one of these townlands, you can expect to learn a lot about your heritage, meet old friends and discover new friends – and relations!!!.  Whether it’s a first visit to the home place or coming back to rekindle fond memories, we’re sure you will have an enjoyable time and a truly unforgettable experience.
